The new generation 2015 Skoda Fabia has its world premiere today at the VW Group Night. Production of the new hatchback is underway at the company’s main plant in Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic, with European sales set to start soon.
At the time of launch, Skoda say the new Fabia will come with four petrol and three diesel engine options. Starting the lineup is a 1.0-liter three-cylinder MPI unit with 60 bhp or 75 bhp. A 1.2-liter four-cylinder TSI motor is offered in varying tunes of 90 bhp or 110 bhp.
The diesel range of the new Fabia gets a 1.4-liter three-cylinder TDI unit capable of 75 bhp, 90 bhp or 105 bhp. A 5-speed manual gearbox is fitted standard on the diesel range, while the most powerful petrol can be had with a 7-speed DSG.
The engines are announced to be 17 percent more efficient than the outgoing model. The car as such is 65 kg lighter compared to its predecessor.
For now, Skoda Auto India have no plans to launch the new Fabia in India. In Europe, the car competes with the VW Polo, the new Hyundai i20 and the upcoming Honda Jazz to name a few.

Maar wordt ook lastig deze meneer te bezoeken.
Schijnt ergens opgestopt en ingesloten te zitten.

Als ik sommige auto's hier op het Forum zie, dan is van "arme lui's volksfiets" weinig te zien....

het maakt ook helemaal niet uit of het nu om auto's gaat of andere zaken. Dit soort reaguurders-reacties onderstrepen eens te meer dat wij leven in een zekere vorm van open inrichting. Je moet daar vooral niet teveel acht op slaan, al is het alleen maar voor je eigen zielenheil

In Duitsland is er al een configurator met de Fabia III. 
En een voorlopige folder.
En een voorlopige prijslijst.
(Op basis van 109 gr CO2/km): Reken nog wel op € 2205 aan extra te betalen BPM en afhankelijk van de prijs, zo'n 300 euro aan extra BTW die er nog bij komt.
