Voor de mensen die in het bezit zijn van een VCDS kabel en die graag bij openen en afsluiten van de auto een toetertje willen horen:
Open VCDS and access 09 - Central Electric, Byte 6.
Note that all of your doors must be unlocked to access this module.
This is what my factory coding looked like before the change:
All I did was check Bit 5, Anti-Theft-System installed/active to enable the alarm, and Bit 3: Anti-Theft-System "Simple Horn" installed which prevents the module from throwing a fault from the alarm horn not being present.
That's it! The lights now flash and the horn honks if any door is opened without the key. I think it also works for the trunk, but I didn't test that... I understand it can also work for the hood if you have a latch sensor, which I don't (if you do, I think you'll see a light on your dash when the hood is open). I think you can add that sensor for ~$50.
To test it I sat in the car and used my remote to lock it, then opened a door after waiting for 60 seconds. I DO NOT have keyless entry, if you do I think you will have to put your remote somewhere far away from the car for it to work.
Als je hierna nog even de routine volgt van het toetertje bij openen en sluiten, dan zou het dus moeten werken
